Oddly enough, I still find teeth the most difficult even when doing skulls!

andrea j

Ha! Teeth is something I've never thought about or had a problem with - because I don't believe I've ever drawn them! Well you made a pretty good job of them!

Felicity

Wow, this is fabulous! His eyes are so striking, I would never have guessed you were concerned about his teeth. They look great, not overdone or too detailed, perfect for the drawing.

Jana Bouc

I'm with you there on the teeth. I've struggled mightily with them, especially on a watercolor portrait I did of a couple for a wedding present. They both had huge smiles with big beautiful teeth in the photo they gave me to work from. It turned out OK but it's like any other feature in that it has to be right but not so strongly rendered that it's too obvious. You did great on this one.

i don't suppose you will ever read this or you will care, but i think these drawing are amazing. I am only 15 so you can imagine my talent is limited to say thing lest but seeing that i was able to comment i thought i would so i could tell you how amazing your drawings are. They are incredible.!

Thank you, Amanda! Do you currently take art in school?

amanda

Thats okay. Yes, I do art, it's my all time favourite subject. Do you sell your art?

amanda

.. Sorry about the questions, but on avrage, how long would it take you to finish a drawing of someone like this one? haha Sorry to be annoying.

candace

when i try to draw people, i can never get the eyes to be symmetrical.
