There are people i have been itching to draw. They are stuck in my ever-expanding mental list of to-do portraits and they coexist there, as if in a waiting room -- waiting to come out on paper: Ira Glass, Jean d'Ormesson, my Mom, my cousin's former boss, John Hurt, Rodin, to name a few. Today, Garrison Keillor was released from my waiting room and ended up in my Moleskine. I had been meaning to draw him with a pencil, but i was a bit rushed at lunch. Pilot pen and colored pencil.
