There's always room for a drawing on an envelope. I originally wanted to make a pencil drawing out of a photo by Olivier Roller, but instead did it quickly in pen. This is going to Gabi (check out the new look of his blog) as part of our international Moleskine Exchange. Pigma on USPS bubble envelope.

Sweet! Mail art rules...but not as much as your drawings. And "quickly" too. Man you're good!

Hi, I just found your blog this morning. I really like your work, especially your ink drawings. Love how you build mass with a variety of hatching methods!

This is great, what a keepsake that will make. What happens to the sketchbooks when they are finished?

Oh...I love your mail art. I don't know if I told you or not, but I framed the envelope you sent Pokey's drawing in. It looks great suspended between two pieces of glass...
Love it.

Yep, I agree your mail art is AMAZING. I alwasy think about what a treat it must be for the postal workers to see. I bet there must be somebody who has handled these envelopes who has been inspired to pick up a pen. Must be.
