Over at the Moleskine Exchange, we (Andrea, Gabi, Juj, Miguel, Suzanne and myself) come from different countries, and some of us don't live in the country we're originally from -- but i wanted to make a little docu-sketch of what the postal service looks like in all these countries (Spain, England, United States, France and Italy).
This is my contribution to Suzanne's moly, whose theme is mail. I had fun researching the colors and the logos of our respective postal services. As for the USPS trucks, they were simply parked across the street from my house.
Large view and other shots are available on Flickr.

This is great. A great post (ho ho). I like those yellow la poste vans (spent many a morning chasing those down rue de sevigne), and they always remind me of the one destroyed by godefroye and jacquouille in Les Visiteurs. Love the colour scheme here.

Haha! Pete, i wish i had found a picture of the Renault 4 (the same model they destroyed in Les Visiteurs!) -- it would have been perfect. But i had to settle for a Kangoo.
Thank you for stopping by and posting (!) a comment :-)
