I have been drawing, no really, I have. My posts have been weekly at best, but in between, I have been sitting at our daughter's table and doodling with her. She gives me cues ("Maman dessine... cœur? Étoile?") and I oblige. Then she adds her contributions. Crayola washable crayon on Ikea paper.

I still love to sit and draw with my kids. I'm hoping as they get a little more patient and can sit still for longer than five minutes, we'll be able to go on sketching adventures together.

aw, that's great! It's so fun when they start drawing. I used drawing as a tool at the dinner table to get my son to eat his dinner, "eat three green beans and I'll draw an airplane/helicopter/etc", but the trick has since worn off. We draw together now though, he has his own sketchbook.
