One of my favorite cars ever made -- back when the Saabs looked good. I nearly bought a similar model 4 years ago in Europe, but got talked out of it.

Quatrelle GTL

A newer model of the one i had drawn months ago. I seem to be drawn to orange-y cars. My mom's was red -- plastic trim and all. Pen and watercolor in Moleskine.

Dreary meeting in the old band room

Turning a dreary meeting in the old band room of our school into a banner. Or maybe a sticker. Helvetica must be my all-time favorite font, hands down. Some pen, some Adobe Illustrator.

Snow day

A student gave me a copy of Dime magazine. I tore off a page with a photo of Stephon Marbury (by Chad Griffith), hoping i would have the time to draw it some day. Today's snow day gave me a couple of quiet hours to do it. 2B Cretacolor graphite on sketch paper.

Poland Spring

As i was adding some watercolor to today's doodles, i was revisiting what was being said as i was drawing certain areas of the page. Funny how information sticks when i doodle. Funny also that i have caught myself drinking water lately. I haven't had a Mountain Dew or a Cherry Coke in days.

Here are my 6 (i couldn't do 5!) picks, in alphabetical order. Even if i had a bus/train/plane to catch, i would linger at my computer to admire their talent and get a boost of inspiration from them:
Suzanne Buchanan, Gabi Campanario, Miguel Herranz, Andrea Joseph, Ryan Wolf, and Joan Yoshioka. I love the fact we are all on two different continents but we've connected because of some pens and paper. That just blows me away.
