Sometimes, i screw up. Not lightly. I go into it head first, with no reservations. I knew this drawing was distorted beyond repair about two thirds of the way in, but i cheerfully (well, not quite) finished it. But as Danny Gregory says in The Creative Licence, a failure is a "record of how we see". I've got a bunch of records like this!! And that's why i love drawing with a pen too. It is as unmerciful as it is fun.

Where exactly? I don't see any screw up whatsoever. It's amazing.I know what you mean though. Don't you find when you feel like that about a drawing you just end up resenting it. Right the way through. It's still amazing though. Nice to see your boots again. I've been missing them. How many drawings of them so far?

Speaking of "making a record of how we see"...I simply LOVE this...and your beautiful crosshatching as well. In my eyes it's an absolute winner! :)
