When i saw Stephen Gardner's drawing of a cork screw the other day, i immediately thought of the many times i had meant to draw mine but had dismissed the idea as too difficult. So tonight, before heading out to my friends' house for dinner, i started drawing my cork screw on the back of an envelope, and it was, indeed, difficult. No pleasure there -- my left brain just took over. And i didn't sharpen my #2 pencil enough.
Wonderful drawings!

I love it. I think your corkscrew and mine know a lot of the same people.

fantastic, amazing, great.
i only found Stepehen's site, after he left a comment on mine, today. i can't believe i hadn't been there before. it's absolutley amazing. when you've been blogging for some time you think you've seen every drawing blog that there is to see. it's not often you come across one that knocks your socks off again. it's brilliant, inspiring, intimidating and keeps you on your feet. cool beans.

You did a fabulous job, though. I've never even posted my own attempt at a corkscrew as it was so bad. My fatal error was to sample the wine before starting to sketch.
