For all the ladies i've drawn, i have only done a couple of bugs -- one of which was in a letter to my friend B. a couple of years ago (see below). The other was a souped-up version i had spotted in California.
This is a quick sketch done with a Sharpie marker on a piece of cardboard (which was a little too big to scan well, hence the poor quality) in preparation for the 1974 Superbeetle i intend to draw today. There just aren't enough bugs here.
Great drawing!

Glad to see "you're working out all the bugs." Sorry...I couldn't help it.

This is exciting! My father is a trained VW repairman, and these are his favorites. He has had an office job for years now, but still has a variety of Bugs sitting in the back driveway/garage. He loves them.
Looking forward to the results!

LOVE them, France, and your souped-up one, too! I think the wildest bug I ever saw was right here in my little Midwestern town--half bug, half MOTORCYCLE. I wish I had a picture of that!
