If this is another "draft-before-the-pencil-version" drawings, I don't think it'll go much further -- just like the previous one I did. I've discovered the photographs of Icelander
Gunnar Salvarsson and drawing from his photographs with the Pigma Micron is great fun (despite the unshakable guilt I feel for relying on someone else's vision -- I can't help it).
Pigma Micron in sketchbook.
France, as always your drawing is amazing and wonderful.

Hello! I like your artwork. I am just a researcher - my partner is a photographer: http://www.mrdgallery.com. We both live in Machynlleth but we'd like to move away from here. I really like the Mozambique smile - & your vehicles, also your "everyday matters".
Kind regards and I will look on your great blog again.

France,
I have subscribed to your artwork here for only a few months. I discovered your works in Danny Gregory's "An Illustrated Life". What genius you have in your keen observation powers. I cannot tell you how inspirational your work is to a humble beginner. The "Mozambique smile" is another example of your exceptional talent. Many thanks for bringing such beautiful work into the world and sharing it.

These last two studies are both outstanding. To pull off that kind of sensitivity with a pen is truly remarkable. Great jobs both. Have I ever mentioned that you are a born illustrator?
