Construction

Our backyard is a mess these days, owing to the construction of our new garage.  But as long as the path to the pool is clear, we're ok.  This was a disgustingly quick attempt during our little one's nap to convey today's scenery from the living room window.  Pilot pen in sketchbook.

Waiting

I had to sit and wait on two different occasions in the past couple of days -- about 20 minutes, which was just enough to draw a chair each time.  On a side note, when I was sitting at the hair salon today, it was the first time in over seven years I had my hair done by someone other than, uh, me. Five!

I am posting an atrocity but I needed a number five.  Today my blog is turning five and I have less direction for it than I ever had -- just to keep drawing and share.

Between diaper changes, I am toying with the (daunting!) idea of potty training.  And I love this new Pilot pen on the Moleskine page.
